Morning GPSD community,
New guy, just moved from Dallas, TX to Vancouver, WA, and looking to join O30 or O40 league.
42 this year but still plays in North Texas Premier Soccer League (NTPSA) O30 Div 3, had to move in the middle of the season, oh well. Been playing soccer since 15 yo, primarily in community and rec leagues. Can cover multiple positions, currently, a right-footed LB, but can cover both left/right wings/defense as well as occasionally backfill defensive mid or center back.
6 foot and 230 lbs (well, marriage will do that to you..), can take a hit, will hustle for slide tackles and headers if needed (at this age... we all need to work, lol)
I normally drive 30-60 min one way to play a game in Texas, so yeah, distance is not a problem.
Lastly, originally from Toronto Canada, my first time in Portland was when TFC was here playing Timbers to a 2-2 tie. Joined local Timbers Army hosts and volunteered time to create soccer pitches in the community then went for the match. Great people, great community, and great fun all around.
